Who Do You Have Your Eyes On?

Acts 10:25-26

It is easy to place our eyes and accolades on man instead of Christ within man. Sometimes we can get so caught up in the fanfare and popularity of people, that we forget to recognize that they are just like you and me! Here’s a litmus test. Do you feel just a little nervous or impressed when your pastor walks by, or maybe his wife? Do you obsess over a band or musician? How about Joyce or Beth or Max or Bill or any of the other amazing bible study authors, teachers and speakers who's every word we hang on to. There is nothing wrong with looking to people for encouragement and direction, but remember, these people are the messengers … Christ is the message! Just like them, I pray you are walking in your calling, too!
