Jesus - Truly Your BFF!

Friendship with God ... imagine it! God understands that there is a closeness in friendship which is unique to any other relationship. Friends laugh together and cry together, shop together, brainstorm together and do silly things together, and when they are done with all of that, they solve world's problems together! That's a lot of togetherness! Friends hang out because they simply enjoy each other!

Scripture tells us that Abraham was called a 'friend of God' because he trusted God. He trusted God because he spent time together with God!

James 2:22-23 (NIV)

You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” [a] and he was called God’s friend.
